TO LEARN

This project suggests a design of a new student library for the oldest university in Scotland - The University of St Andrews. As such, the university's influence as a prominent academic institution is reflected throughout the townscape.
The new library provides a good study environment with consideration given to the quality of light, the use of materials and the overall environmental impact of the building. The proposal aims to contribute to the context of St Andrews and offers opportunities for further development of the town as a lively academic centre.
